Below are some of the practical ways you can support our work with schools.
If you are interested in finding out more about how your organisation can support us, please email email@example.com.
|Become the main partner with one of our core schools||
Partner with a core school throughout the academic year to offer workshops and specialist industry insights to a core group within one of our core schools.
Our core schools are based in London, Birmingham and Manchester. Partnering will involve planning and delivering 1-2 hour workshops on approximately a monthly basis.
|Become a 1-1 or small group mentor||
Our mentors provide students with one-to-one support to explore their personal challenges and find solutions.
Mentoring sessions are normally fortnightly and take place over Zoom or in person.
We provide training and support to our mentors before matching them with a mentee.
|Deliver a one-off careers talk||Deliver a talk to a class or year-group of students on your industry, path to your profession and other useful knowledge and insights to aid their development and aspirations.|
|Create, co-create with SLCT, a resource to help young people to learn about your profession, industry, how to be entrepreneurial or soft skills||Develop a learning resource independently or in partnership with SLCT for the students on our programme and within our wider school networks.|
|Host a workplace visit||Host a group of students for a visit to your organisation to meet a range of professionals, learn about the work you do and see the world of work in-person|
|Host work experience||
Host one or a small group of students for a week (or time-frame indicated by schools) in a work experience.
We can offer guidance to help you to ensure the work experience is tailored to meet the needs of our beneficiaries.
|Sponsor prizes for students and partner schools on the programme||Provide prizes for students who demonstrate growth and excellent participation on the programme|
|Collaborate with SLCT to deliver a full-day workshop||Collaborate with SLCT to plan and deliver a full-day ‘Introduction to’ your profession with tailored workshops and activities for a group of students from one of a small number of schools.|
