It is with great excitement that we announce the outstanding achievement of Blueprint for All, as we are honoured with the prestigious “Acquisition International Non-profit Organisation Award: Most Inspirational Youth Education Charity 2023”.
Looking for a charity partner, Cabot Credit Management wanted a partnership that will provide sustainable value that leads to championing diversity. For Neil Hussey, Head of Communications, that doesn’t mean “talking about initiatives or programmes, or moments in time. It is about genuine impact.”
When the murder of George Floyd happened, it created a shift within people. Sarah felt like she was awoken to her white privilege and felt like she needed to do something to hold not only herself but the people around her accountable – grouping with her friends she decided to start the anti-racist book club.
Over the past quarter we have seen some huge breakthroughs when it comes to our programmes. Programmes such as Building Futures has seen participants being 50% more knowledgeable about apprenticeships in architecture. Entrepreneurship & Innovation received a staggering 94% of participants feeling more inspired and reporting that they had an increased understanding of how to succeed when pursuing Entrepreneurial pathways – to name a few.
Early this month, Blueprint for All entertained their first Architecture Advisory Board meeting of 2022. Established in January 2017, the board provides expert input to help us to develop industry relevant ideas and programmes for supporting our participants from diverse ethnic groups
We believe that projects and programmes in the built environment are only truly successful when they deliver real benefits to the local community, including enhancing wellbeing, building social capital and protecting the environment. This focus on delivering more than buildings is called ‘social value’.
