What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving, encouraging people to support a cause close to their hearts. Celebrated every year on the Tuesday after Black Friday, it is an opportunity to focus on others and to counteract the consumer rush in the build-up to the festive season. 

This year, the event takes place on 30 November and for Blueprint for All it is a day to celebrate our fantastic donors, fundraisers, and supporters!  

We are asking our supporters to share their giving stories to gain insight into what motivates them to give their time and to donate. The day also offers us the opportunity to raise awareness of our high impact programmes that create the groundwork for a more inclusive society.

How can you support us this Giving Tuesday? 

We are launching a storytelling campaign, #MyGivingStory, to encourage fundraisers, donors and supporters to share how and why they give, and the impact their giving journey has had on them. By taking part, you can help us demonstrate how easy it is to contribute to Blueprint for All’s work, while also highlighting the different ways that our community supports us.   

#MyGivingStory aims to spread the word about Blueprint for All, inspire more people to donate, and to give in different ways. Hearing your stories will help Blueprint for All to gather more support and raise awareness of why we do what we do. We want to amplify your voices because your support enables us to help young people across the country and tackle inequality in all its forms.

Consider what or who motivated you to get involved with Blueprint for All. Have you campaigned for us, donated to us, or have you used your skills to elevate others? What impact do you want support to have? How does supporting us make you feel? 

This Giving Tuesday is a chance to celebrate the enduring generosity of supporters, and by sharing your giving story you could inspire someone else to join you and do something amazing!
