Daisy Dalton takes on her first Marathon in Paris
Daisy Dalton challenged herself to complete her first-ever marathon around Paris’ iconic sights. Daisy’s determination and perseverance helped raise an incredible £2086.48 for Blueprint for All, demonstrating the tremendous impact one hard-working fundraiser can have.
Daisy hopes her support will raise awareness and get people thinking and talking about ways to make the world a more inclusive and equal place.” As Daisy believes that “the more people are made aware of injustices, the more we can change.”
A team of four get to finally take to the streets of London for this year’s London Marathon
A team of four runners, including three experienced marathon runners and one first-timer, have completed the London Marathon for Blueprint for All, raising an impressive £2,046.76.
This marathon is particularly significant as it marks David’s 30th, Greg’s 5th and Cian’s 4th completion of the 26.2 miler. They had each run for Blueprint for All as part of the first-ever virtual London Marathon in 2020, raising an incredible £2,000. During their preparations for this year’s in-person event, Greg said: “It is exciting to prepare for a marathon but this one carries more weight, as finally, we will be running in the streets of London.”
Conor joined the team this time in the hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps with this being his first marathon. He said that he makes use of “the ancestral wisdom passed down by [my] old man and certified marathon veteran David McGillan.”
Meanwhile, David’s hope is that the funding can ensure “more young people from diverse backgrounds achieve their potential and excel in their chosen career.
