We are excited to announce that The Langham, London, has partnered with Blueprint for All to mark its reopening on  17th May 2021, as part of their new ‘Stay and Do Good’ initiative.

The Langham will be encouraging prospective guests to ‘do good’ by booking one of their bespoke themed packages: Empowerment, Care, Together, Heal and Future. A proportion of the money from these bookings will be donated to ten hand-picked charities.

Through this new campaign, The Langham will be supporting local and national charities that have been selected for their important work in empowering communities. They are hoping that each guest will be able to connect with the values represented by the packages.

Blueprint for All and Switchboard LGBTQ+ Helpline were selected for the ‘Empowerment’ themed package. With a variety of causes to choose from, the packages give guests the opportunity to support an organisation they feel a meaningful connection with, whilst enjoying a stay in the heart of London. Each time a guest stays at the hotel, The Langham will donate a quarter of the value of the booking to the chosen charity, donating the funds at the end of every month.

More than ever, we recognise the importance of coming together to make a difference to the world we live in today. Our pledge to support our community lies at the heart of The Langham’s values and we encourage our guests to join us in supporting those who are changing and building lives across our community.

Alongside supporting Blueprint for All, the other charities selected include CoppaFeel!, Calm, London Wildlife Trust, James’ Place, Maggie’s, PlanZheroes, Switchboard LGBT+ helpline, Spread a Smile, and Tommy’s.

Each of the packages will include an overnight stay for two, daily breakfast and a specially selected amenity of a box of chocolate truffles. With its prominent location set in one of London’s grandest buildings on Regent Street, The Langham, London offers a choice of luxurious guest rooms and suites within walking distance of some of the city’s best sites.

The ‘Stay and Do Good’ mission follows The Langham, London’s 155th anniversary in June 2020, when the hotel embarked on a mission to give back to the everyday heroes in the local community. The hotel’s team donated 155 gift boxes including afternoon tea and a surprise overnight stay voucher to key workers.

Stefan Leser, Chief Executive Officer of Langham Hospitality Group says “At the heart of our hotels across the globe are the local communities that bring each of the destinations to life. The work that our charity partners do is critical to future generations and they are aligned with our own Group’s values. I look forward to working closely with the team at The Langham, London to raise significant funds for good causes in the UK.”

At Blueprint for All we pride ourselves on working with our communities to create an inclusive society where everyone, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or background can thrive, and we are proud to be working with such prestigious names like The Langham. Doris Greif, Managing Director of Langham Hospitality Group comments: “More than ever, we recognise the importance of coming together to make a difference to the world we live in today. Our pledge to support our community lies at the heart of The Langham’s values and we encourage our guests to join us in supporting those who are changing and building lives across our community”.
