Well…these are all the hats that Tim Jeffery wears, but who is he? A well-travelled architect, Tim worked in Hong Kong as a Design Director for many years before returning to the UK to set up his own practice in 1997. Tim is now one of our Your Space members, this is his story…
Now if you haven’t heard of feng shui, this is where you will get to know. Shaping Hong Kong, feng shui is an ancient Chinese art of arranging buildings, objects, and space in an environment to achieve harmony and balance.
Working on the Cathay Pacific Headquarters, Tim had to work with feng shui experts when considering his designs. The building went on to achieve an HKIA Silver Award – which for us normal folk, it’s the Grammy’s for buildings.
So why did Tim decide to transition working in Your Space?
After a period of sailing and a rental increase for the company’s office near London Bridge, he was on the lookout for a flexible workspace that that accommodated for his fluctuating workload within a high-quality work environment – and that is where Your Space came into the picture.
“My favourite thing about Your Space is the work environment which I find calm and appropriate to concentration – it is also great to be able to relieve the duller moments with a bit of friendly chat with my co-residents.”
