Job Title: Social Media Coordinator
Reports to: Marketing and Comms Manager
Salary/Hours: £23,000-£26,000 / 37.5 hours per week (full time)
Location: Blueprint for All | Your Space, 39 Brookmill Rd, London, SE8 4HU
Background to Blueprint for All
We do not believe that your race, ethnicity or background should limit what you can achieve in life. Our work directly addresses some of the key challenges that hold people back. Blueprint for All runs high impact programmes that inspire and enable young people from under-represented backgrounds to succeed. We work with young people and communities to broaden their view of what is possible and help them gain the knowledge, skills, and qualifications they need.
Purpose of this post:
Join us as a social media coordinator, create content that captures the imagination of those who know nothing about us, and the hearts and minds of those that already do to keep them engaged. Your work tells a story and amplifies the voice of underrepresented young people from ethnically diverse backgrounds in the UK.
This person in this new role will naturally work closely with the Marketing and Comms Manager at Blueprint for All, as well as the Marketing and Comms Coordinator, offering a real opportunity to help shape how people see BFA and our work. There’s a huge amount of potential that needs someone who’ll pick up and carry on the conversations across social media, build relations with our programme participants, community groups and attract new partners and fundraisers to our cause.
You’ll be part of a busy, close knit comms team that loves a good idea and telling powerful human stories that drive people to take action, whether that’s joining a Blueprint for All programme or event, making a donation or sharing their story. You’ll create video, animations, and graphics, but most of all, have a stack of ideas just waiting to be turned into great content.
In this role, there’s scope to grow all areas of Blueprint for All’s social media, not least of all our video content and with particular focus on TikTok and Instagram in order to grow our young audience base.
